As with any orchestra, ticket sales make up only a small fraction of the income needed to run operations. Through program advertising, fundraisers, government grants and the generosity of concert sponsors, area businesses and individuals, we are able to keep our operations alive. The SSO is a registered 501( c )(3) organization. The amount donated in excess of the fair market value of benefits received is a charitable contribution. The SSO values our family of supporters and is blessed to have them believe in our organization. Thank you to all who made our 25th Silver Anniversary Season a wonderful celebration. There are many ways for you to support the SSO. Businesses may contribute on many levels: such as placing a program ad, sponsoring a concert or through a financial contribution. *"I’d like to place an ad."* Program advertising allows you to attract customers while supporting symphonic culture and education in Schuylkill County. Place an ad and it will be featured in all of our SSO program books for the season. Take me to the season schedule. Click here to download the program advertising form *"I’d like to sponsor a concert."* Sponsoring a concert is a wonderful opportunity to be directly involved in bringing symphonic music to the community. Concert sponsor opportunities are currently available for the 2006/2007 season. Please contact the office at 570-628-2632 for more information. *"My business would like to make a financial contribution."* As a "Symphony Sustainer", you support not only SSO concert programming but also the SSO’s Educational Programs, which promotes musical appreciation and talents of our area youth.
